The Ottawa Carleton Futsal League (OCFL) is once again hosting the popular Bob Rathwell Memorial Futsal Tournament over the January 15-17th weekend throughout the nation's capital. Divisions ranging from U12-U21's are invited to participate as well as womens teams.
The tournament is staged and timed to give participating teams a chance to build on their season progress and prepare for their league championships and other end-of-season competitions. Top youth teams from the province including the Ottawa Royals and the Russell Raiders have participated in the past and it looks to be a high quality event this year.
The entry fee is a mere $200 per team and guarantees 3 games. Teams that progress will go on to the championship rounds.
